"Visited April 2024 - A really good and safe choice if you're looking for tasty and comforting food anytime of the day. The menu has a decent range of dishes catering for most holiday makers. The sandwiches are very good, nice, rich and filling! Not all dishes were as good as they could have been, which tended to be more of the Mexican dishes surprisingly which I think just lacked some flavour a bit of quality to it. Saying that, the brownie dessert was divine! Prices are high and portions are small but not too bad in comparison to other hotel restaurants nearb. Service was a bit slow, again the restaurant was pretty empty when we dined which makes me think they have a lot of room service/beach side orders. So if you're staying at the hotel and looking for late night food or a quiet lunch, this is the place to go."
"We’ve had breakfast here every morning and Alejandra is great! She makes the best coffee we’ve had in Mexico! She remembers the specialty orders and is attentive."
"This restaurant is in the “hotel zone”. We stayed at the intercontinental. Cafe urbano is in the vicinity. We wanted to eat where it wasn’t busy. This place has a nice view. To get to that view, you’ll have to climb a few steps. The atmosphere was chill. The waitress was pleasant. We had cappuccino, freshly squeezed orange juice, pancakes, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, fruits, and a few pastries. To come degree, there seems to have been some misunderstanding in our communication. Nevertheless, the overall the timely service and taste of the food was fine. Nothing to write home about."
"This place is open for business!! I was looking for a place to eat in the Cancun area good for breakfast and I seen a lot of positive reviews on the French toast so I had to try it. The French toast didn’t disappoint it was seasoned to perfection and I didn’t need syrup, but I added it anyways. Everything I had was great for 350 pesos I got french toast, 2 sides of hash browns, scrambled eggs, bacon, toast and a ice coffee. The service was great ( I was the only person there it was really early ) but the server was still attentive to me. ***YOU HAVE TO WALK DOWNSTAIRS TOWARDS THR POOL TO GET TO THE MAIN ENTRANCE located in Intercontinental"
"Service and atmosphere are great. Food is ok. Cortado was so good."
"No need to go outside and eat under the heat. Make sure to explore the hotel."
"After having bland food at JW Marriott’s various restaurants for 4 days, I had best brunch of my Cancun trip; they had flavor full authentic Mexican breakfast items like chilaquiles and continental options for kids like pan cakes;"
"We had no expectations for this place, we were just trying to get a late dinner while on the hotel, and what a great surprise it was. Stefania was simply an awesome host, making our experience really good, even though the space is quite simple. The food was impressive for a cafe, my sandwich was really good, and the tacos were just the best we had during all of our stay in Mexico. On top of that we had Churros for dessert, which were also the best we had on our trip. It's amazing when you are not expecting much, but is positively surprised"
